About us

Corzail “Corey” Nicholson was a great and vibrant father, brother, son and friend to many.

On June 6th, 2018 we lost Corey not to suicide but to an everyday problem that myself and other minorities face daily; trauma, depression and anxiety. After losing Corey, we decided to keep Corey’s vision of launching “Boss Up Entertainment” alive by launching the “Boss Up Foundation” in honor and in remembrance of him.

His legacy now lives through the Boss Up “B.U.” Foundation, Boss Up “B.U.” Entertainment, his son, Izaiah “Ziggy” Nicholson, and his family.

The Boss Up Foundation aims to build confidence, integrity and spread more love amongst our youth and throughout the communities we represent. We use a trauma informed approach within our E4 [Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Entertainment] strategy to accomplish our mission.
